Which types of personal data do we collect and for which purposes?
- We collect personal data when you order a publication. For this purpose, we collect your name and address. This data is deleted as soon as you have received the order. We only share the data with the publisher or printer that sends you the publication. We conclude a so-called ‘processor agreement’ with these parties.
- We collect personal data in order to process feedback concerning the content of the CHR-KHR website and questions about our activities, publications and organisation.
- We collect personal data in order to process your registration for conferences or events. If there are third parties involved in processing these data, we conclude a so-called ‘processor agreement’ with these parties.
Retention of personal data
Personal data are not retained for longer than is necessary for the purpose for which they were collected. Whenever we process personal data, we will only use data that you yourself have actively provided to us. When you enter your name and address in order to ask a question or order a publication, for instance, these details will not be used to send you any other information, unless indicated otherwise.
Processing of personal data
CHR-KHR processes your personal data because you make use of our services and/or because you yourself have provided the data to us. CHR-KHR will not pass on your data to third parties, and will only disclose them if necessary for the performance of our agreement with you or to fulfil a statutory obligation. We conclude a processor agreement with companies that process data on our behalf, in order to ensure that your data is treated with the same level of security and confidentiality that CHR-KHR would apply. CHR-KHR remains responsible for these processing activities.

You have the right to view, correct or order the deletion of your personal data. You also have the right to object to or withdraw your consent for the processing of your personal data by CHR-KHR, and you have the right to data portability. ‘Data portability’ means that you can request us to send a computer file containing the personal data that we possess about you to you, or to an organisation named by you. Please send an e-mail to info@CHR-KHR.nl if you wish to submit a request to view, correct or delete your personal data, if you wish to submit a request for data portability, or if you wish to object to or withdraw your consent for the processing of your personal data.
